Nivea Campaign Hits Duane Reade Stores

NEW YORK Beiersdorf Inc. has launched a holiday campaign using StoreBoard Media's security pedestal media in 200 Duane Reade Inc. drug stores here.
The campaign, which began on November 30, focuses on Nivea's lip care products and carries the tagline "Kiss and Be Kissed."
The in-store promotions carry the headline "Make 2010 a year of love, hugs and kisses."
"Times Square on New Year's Eve is the kissing center of the world," Beiersdorf vice president of marketing Nicolas Maurer says "For Nivea lip care, the brand that celebrates love and kisses, what could be more fitting?"
The promotion campaign ties in with Nivea's sponsorship of the New Year's Eve celebration in New York City's Times Square this year, the second consecutive year in which the brand has been a sponsor of the event.
StoreBoard chief executive officer Doug Leeds notes that the monthlong campaign will generate nearly 20 million impressions among Duane Reade customers.
