StoreBoard Media Adds Chain to Network
By Institute staff
StoreBoard Media recently expanded its security pedestal advertising network by adding Pine Bluff, AR-based USA Drug to its client roster.
New York-based StoreBoard installs advertising wraps on security pedestals at store entrances. The company has exclusive relationships with CVS, Longs, Duane Reade and Jewel-Osco, and now has a network of more than 13,000 stores. It has also installed ad programs at Walgreens and Rite Aid. The full network delivers more than a half-billion gross impressions monthly.
The 24-year-old USA Drug chain consists of approximately 170 retail outlets in Oklahoma, Tennessee, Mississippi, Missouri and Arkansas. The stores operate under the USA Drug, Super D Drugs, May’s Drug Stores, Drug Warehouse, Med-X Drugs and Ike’s Discount banners.
A key to USA Drug’s acceptance of the StoreBoard network was the "great opportunity to transform a cost center loss prevention technology into a revenue generator. We are excited about the opportunity, " said spokesperson Dyer Custer. Participating retailers get a share of the ad revenue StoreBoard generates from campaigns running in their stores.
StoreBoard recently executed its first full-network campaign for Beiersdorf Inc.’s Nivea, which was launching a brand extension.
